Romeo & Juliet
πΎπ Romeo & Juliet β Still Writing Their Love Story Together ππΎ
Fostered in Wisconsin
9 Months Old | Spayed & Neutered Pair
Some dogs simply enjoy having another dog around, but Romeo and Juliet share a truly special bond. These two have grown up side by side and move through life together with an incredible sense of comfort, companionship, and love.
They play together, cuddle together, explore together, and give each other confidence in new situations. Their connection is gentle, healthy, and deeply comforting for both of them, which is why we are committed to finding them a forever home together.
We understand that people sometimes have concerns when it comes to bonded siblings, and itβs something we took seriously while evaluating Romeo and Juliet. What we see is not unhealthy dependence, but a positive relationship where they genuinely thrive as a pair. Keeping them together is what we believe gives them the happiest and most balanced future.
And while they adore each other, they also love everyone around them. Romeo and Juliet are wonderful with other dogs, great with kids, and respectful around cats. They are also potty trained and walk nicely on leash, making them an easy and well-adjusted addition to the right home.
At 9 months old, they are past the tiny puppy stage but still young enough to continue learning and growing with their forever family. Romeo brings playful, goofy energy, while Juliet is sweet, affectionate, and gentle. Together, they balance each other beautifully.
Both are now fixed, healthy, and ready to begin the next chapter of their livesβthey just need a family willing to say yes to both of them.
We know adopting two dogs may feel like a big step, but the love and companionship these two bring is truly something special.
Apply to adopt at: MastroMutts.com/forms
The adoption fee for Romeo and Juliet together is $450.
All Mastro Mutts come up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and are spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Kate
Kate
π Fostered in Kenosha, WI
3 Years Old | Spayed Female
Some dogs enter rescue carrying the weight of a difficult past. Physically exhausted, medically neglected, and emotionally worn down, they simply need someone willing to see what they could become.
Kate was one of those dogs.
When we first learned about her, she was living in a shelter with her puppies and struggling in every possible way. She was severely underweight, suffering from mastitis, dealing with significant skin issues, and looked completely exhausted. It was clear that she had spent a long time putting everyone else's needs before her own.
When one of our foster families saw her photo, they didn't hesitate.
"Get her to me."
From that moment forward, Kate's life changed.
Today, Kate is healthy, safe, loved, and thriving. She has gained the weight she needed, her skin and coat have recovered beautifully, and after receiving the medical care she desperately deserved, she finally feels good again.
During her spay surgery, veterinarians discovered that Kate was suffering from pyometra, a serious and potentially life-threatening uterine infection. Fortunately, because she was already undergoing surgery, the condition was identified and treated at exactly the right time. With proper medical care, antibiotics, and plenty of love, Kate made a full recovery.
Now she is ready for the next chapter of her life.
Kate is truly one of the sweetest dogs you could ever hope to meet. She loves people and does wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and children. She has a gentle spirit, an affectionate personality, and the kind of presence that makes people fall in love with her almost immediately.
She is potty trained, kennel trained, and an overall easy companion to have in the home. Kate enjoys spending time with her people, relaxing in comfortable spots, and simply being part of the family. She would especially love a home with a fenced yard where she can stretch her legs, enjoy the outdoors, and continue embracing life as a beloved family dog.
Kate is currently working on her leash manners. She gets excited about walks and can be quite strong on leash, so her future family should be prepared to continue helping her improve in that area. Fortunately, she is eager to please and has already shown how well she responds to love, patience, and consistency.
More than anything, Kate deserves a family who will cherish her for the rest of her life. A family who will see what we see every day:
A survivor with a resilient spirit, a gentle heart, and so much love left to give.
