Sadie Mae has come out of her shell, gained confidence, and started learning how to communicate with her foster family. She is making wonderful progress with potty training and is learning how to let her people know when she needs to go outside. She continues to grow more comfortable, curious, and affectionate as she settles into a safe routine.

Otter

12 Weeks Old • Male • Mixed Breed

Otter is an adorable, playful puppy with a sweet personality and a love for being part of everything his people are doing.

While we do not know his exact breed mix, his foster family believes he may have some Golden Retriever and Border Collie in his background. We expect Otter to grow into a large dog, so he is looking for a family prepared to continue guiding him as he grows.

Otter has been well socialized and does great with other dogs, children, and cats. He is still learning to be respectful of feline friends, but he is making progress with continued guidance.

With a medium to high energy level, Otter enjoys staying active and especially loves spending time outside. Balls, stuffed animals, bones, sticks, and just about every other toy quickly become his favorites. He is happiest running, exploring, playing, and proudly carrying around whatever treasure he finds in the yard.

Otter also loves following his humans around and being included in their daily activities. After playtime, he is happy to settle in on the couch for snuggles.

In his foster home, Otter is working on potty training, kennel training, leash training, and basic obedience. He is very treat motivated and eager to learn, which makes training both fun and rewarding.

Otter would do especially well with an active family and a home with a yard where he can run, play, and continue his important work of collecting sticks. He is looking for people who will give him plenty of exercise, continued training, and lots of love.

Piper

4 Months Old • Female • Mixed Breed

Piper is a beautiful young puppy with a stunning red coat, a playful personality, and one unforgettable feature—a tiny heart-shaped marking on her nose that's just as sweet as she is.

While we can't say for certain what breeds make up Piper's DNA, our best guess is that she is a Labrador Retriever and Pit Bull Terrier mix. Whatever her breed, one thing is certain: she's an incredible puppy with so much love to give.

Piper has been very well socialized and does wonderful with other dogs, children, and cats. She enjoys being around both people and animals and is happiest when she's included in family activities.

She has already mastered both potty training and kennel training and is currently working on perfecting her leash walking skills. Piper is eager to learn and continues to make great progress with positive reinforcement and consistency.

With a medium to high energy level, Piper enjoys staying active. Balls and rope toys are among her favorites, and she especially loves a fun game of tag in the yard. Once she's had time to play, she's happy to settle down for cuddles and give plenty of puppy kisses.

Edgar is a goofy, affectionate puppy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. While we do not know his exact breed mix, we expect him to grow into a large dog.

When Edgar first came into rescue, he was diagnosed with demodectic mange. This skin condition occurs when naturally present mites multiply excessively, often because a young puppy’s immune system is still developing. Demodectic mange is not contagious to people or other healthy animals, and Edgar has responded beautifully to veterinary treatment. His skin has healed, his coat continues to fill in, and he is ready to leave that chapter behind.

Edgar has been well socialized and does great with other dogs, children, and cats. His foster family describes him as the best big brother because he plays hard, loves hard, and sleeps hard.

He is both potty trained and kennel trained. Edgar is also working on his leash walking skills, although he currently prefers to take the lead and show everyone where the adventure should go.

With a medium energy level, Edgar enjoys playing with fluffy toys, collecting sticks, and finding every muddy spot available. He is playful, clever, and determined enough to figure out how to climb out of a puppy pen.
