Cammi is a devoted mama who has officially completed her biggest job — raising her babies. She is the proud mother of Memphis, Priscilla, and Elvis, all of whom have found their forever homes. Now that her puppies are settled, it’s finally Cammi’s turn to be chosen.

After giving so much of herself to her pups, Cammi stayed with us a little longer to allow her body time to recover. She has finished weaning, dried up her milk supply, and put on healthy weight — and she looks absolutely wonderful. Cammi is now a happy, healthy medium-sized dog weighing about 45 pounds and ready to start her next chapter.

Based on her striking and beautiful markings, our best guess is that Cammi is a Catahoula mix, though what other breeds might be part of her story remains a mystery. Whatever her mix may be, it came together to create a truly special dog.

Cammi is potty trained, kennel trained, and sleeps calmly through the night in her kennel. She has an ideal, balanced energy level — enjoying playful zoomies and bursts of fun, followed by long, deep naps. She does great with other dogs and children and is also good with cats, though she may occasionally give them a playful chase (at least in her mind).

Sweet, gentle, and affectionate without being overwhelming, Cammi fits easily into everyday life and would thrive in a home looking for a loving, well-mannered companion.

Because Cammi has recently finished weaning her puppies, she has not been spayed yet. If Cammi is adopted before her spay is completed, a spay deposit will be required in addition to her adoption fee. This deposit will be fully refunded once her spay is completed.
