Age/Breed: Small Terrier Mix (Yorkshire Terrier or Australian Silky Terrier — you decide!)

Rodney is a 10 lb. bundle of cuteness who’s as sweet as he is playful. Currently being fostered in Burlington, WI, this little guy has us guessing his breed — at first, we thought Yorkshire Terrier, but he could also be an Australian Silky Terrier. Look them up and let us know what you think!

Rodney is great with other dogs, cats, and kids (though due to his small size, respectful or older children would be best). He is kennel trained and housebroken, with only a couple of nervous accidents in the house. On leash, he walks well with just a bit of excited pulling.

Rodney has a fun, toy-loving personality — he enjoys squeaky toys, stuffed toys, and chew toys, and he even hoards his treasures on the couch. He’s very playful but also incredibly affectionate, loving belly rubs, giving kisses, and greeting you with the cutest smile when you walk through the door.

Babe’s story begins with her mother, Miss Piggy, a purebred American Bulldog who was rescued from a hoarding/backyard breeding situation. Miss Piggy arrived in rescue underweight and pregnant, but thanks to the safety of her foster home, she was able to deliver her litter of puppies on July 3, 2025. It wasn’t an easy labor, but with love and some extra human help, every pup survived and thrived.

Babe was the very first puppy born, and she is nearly identical to her mother in looks and in spirit. She has been such a wonderful puppy, playful and curious, while also showing her affectionate side. Today, Babe is seven weeks old and will soon be ready to begin her forever journey.
